Frierss festive specialities


The first-class Carinthian Prosciutto Castello is a true feast for the palate. Matured for 14 months in the Treffner raw ham manufactory, it is perfectly marbled and melts delicately on the palate, convincing every gourmet.

Especially for Christmas, the Frierss family presented Austria's first prosciutto from the Duroc pig. The special, old European pork breed, the free-range husbandry and the particularly long maturing period over at least 18 months give this limited edition Prosciutto its unique taste: first-class mild with an unmistakable taste. Available only in the Frierss Feinen Haus and in the Frierss branch.

A special recommendation for the festive season is the first-class gourmet ham from Frierss: Original Nock-Land whisky ham, orange pepper ham or the wonderful "Naturbeinschinken". If you are looking for light enjoyment, then the particularly low-fat Frierss chicken filet ham is the perfect choice - whether natural, smoked or with chilli!

The new Frierss truffle specialities promise special moments of pleasure: first-class truffle salami, mini truffle salami, truffle mortadella, fine ham with truffle or fine truffle spread sausage, all refined with finely chopped black truffles.

A very traditional Christmas speciality are the "Kärntner Bauernkrainer" to cook, which are handcrafted by an old family recipe and eaten with sauerkraut at Christmas, especially in many valleys of Carinthia.
