At Easter in Carinthia traditionally regional specialties are enjoyed. These are discovered at the traditional company Frierss in Villach, which has been well known for its special quality and variety of Easter specialities for 120 years.
The juicy Frierss Easter ham is a specialty, handmade according to a traditional family recipe, rustically seasoned, smoked over beech wood and gently cooked, so that the taste is best preserved.
The variety of Easter ham is unique at Frierss. New in the range are the specialities from the purebred, local Duroc pig: Duroc fine ham, Duroc rolled ham and Duroc leg ham! The special breed and the year-round free run on the farm give these specialities their first-class, unmistakable taste.
Frierss offers everything for Easter snacks, including Easter sausages, farmer's casseroles as well as delicate beef tongues, veal tongues or pork tongues.
In the Frierss Feinen Haus in Villach, awarded as "Carinthia's best delicatessen", one discovers everything for the special Easter snack: Carinthian Reindling, homemade Eierkren and Chutneys, coloured Carinthian Easter eggs from the Eierhof Krenn - also delightful Easter baskets or freshly cut as Easter slices.
