Frierss presents new pine smoke salami

A delightful pleasure

With the new pine smoke salami, the traditional Carinthian company Frierss has succeeded in creating a masterpiece of craftsmanship that will convince connoisseurs and gourmets with its wonderful pine smoke flavour.

The Carinthian family business Frierss has discovered the local stone pine of the Nockberge mountains and uses it to produce its award-winning stone pine smoked ham "Zirbenrauchschinken" in the best craftsmanship and now presents new: stone pine smoked salami and Carinthian Hauswürstel stone pine smoked. Specialities for connoisseurs and all those who value quality from the region! 


Stone pine smoked ham "Zirbenrauchschinken"

In elaborate manual work, the experienced ham masters process only the heart of strictly selected local pork legs. The secret lies in the in-house spice mixture and smoking over local Swiss stone pine wood from the Nockberge mountains, Europe's largest contiguous Swiss stone pine region. This gives the ham its particularly hearty flavour with a subtle hint of stone pine and its unmistakably natural, rustic appearance with its chestnut-brown, slightly shiny surface.

For its top quality, the Zirbenrauchschinken was awarded DLG Gold 2021, as well as the Austria-wide Innovation Award Product Champion 2021, category counter in silver.  Frierss Zirbenrauchsalami is available freshly sliced in well-stocked delicatessen counters, and in the Frierss specialist shops in Villach or in the Frierss online shop also sliced as 1/4 piece and 120g pack.

 

Pine salami "Zirbenrauchsalami"

The experienced salami masters handcraft this from the best local pork and refine it with an in-house spice mixture. Smoked over pine wood, they are matured for at least 10 weeks. With their particularly large calibre, the even maturing down to the core requires a lot of experience and is the highest art of salami, which has been cultivated and lived at Frierss for generations. The earthy, fruity, mild smoke aroma of the Swiss stone pine in combination with the spice mixture gives the Swiss stone pine salami its particularly hearty taste with a subtle hint of Swiss stone pine. 

The Zirbenrauchsalami will be available from October as a 1.5 kg stick for the delicatessen counter and in the 100 g slicer pack.

 

Carinthian house sausage pine smoke 140g

Handmade from the best local pork, refined with our own spice mixture and matured for 6 weeks, the Carinthian Hauswürstel Zirbenrauch convince with their hearty taste with a delicious pine note. A speciality of the region, ideal for hiking, for picnics, indispensable for a hearty farmer's buffet and for Carinthian Brettljause. 



SALAMICI Swiss pine smoke 240g

For friends of special salami Frierss presents the new product line SALAMICI. Because the best taste is best enjoyed with friends. Refined with noble spices and smoked over Swiss stone pine wood of the Nockberge mountains, they mature for 6 weeks. What is special is not only the hearty taste with a subtle hint of stone pine, but also the slightly curved shape - a masterpiece of the highest Alpe-Adria salami art.
