Our preservation of this classic Italophile specialty has its origins in the geographic location of the family business in the heart of the Alpine-Adriatic region, as well as in our grandfather’s pioneering spirit and passion for Italian culinary. Together with world-renowned mortadella specialists, he fiddled around using his own roasting methods and by developing his own composition of fine Italian natural seasonings. This tried-and-true family recipe, which has been proven over decades, and the 100% Austrian pork give Frierss’ Mortadella its balanced, finely-aromatic, first-class taste. Pleasantly fresh and very succulent - a specialty for connoisseurs!

TIP: Magnificent as part of an antipasti plate or finely-sliced on a panini with Dolce Latte Italian cheese. Particularly delicious in the kitchen! Give it a try: Mortadella ravioli with celery or Potato-mortadella pastry with chive sauce.
